Announcement from Future Earth Global Hub Japan for the applications for Pathways Postdoctoral Grants

The following information was received from the Future Earth Global Hub Japan.

Future Earth’s Science-Based Pathways for Sustainability initiative (Pathways Initiative) is now accepting applications for Pathways Postdoctoral Grants.

The Pathways Initiative fosters an active international research community, promoting pathways research, integration, agenda setting, and human resource development to enhance understanding of interactions among systems, competing development challenges, and transformations in concrete contexts across diverse temporal and spatial scales.

This grant will support one post-doctoral researcher from each of the working groups responsible for developing each project for a period of 24 months for three pathways projects designed to encourage and strengthen collaboration among the various research communities working on pathways research for sustainability and to integrate existing knowledge on pathways development approaches in specific topics.

Information & Networking Webinar
On Wednesday, August 3, from 9:00pm to 11:00pm (CST), an information and networking webinar will be held to share information about the Pathways Postdoctoral Grants competition. The webinar will begin with an introduction to the Pathways Initiative, a detailed explanation of the Postdoctoral Grants, and a Q&A session, followed by a networking opportunity to form a working group to prepare for the application process.
